I was working at a hospital 3 months ago..... I got offered an awesome opportunity to work for a company - they were about 7 years old and faily new. They didn't offer health insurance but compensated with a bigger salary...... I took the job since my wife had blue cross/blue shield through the same hospital.

My wife just got fired..... I have no health insurance for the 1st time in my life and it's scaring the sh*t outa me..... I could absolutely kill her

I have gone most of my whole life without insurance brother, until I hit college I didn't have insurance. And I only bought it because it is mandatory.

I haven't been to the dentist since I was 12. luckily I have good teeth

how exactly is this? i'm in college and they couldn't give two shits....not to mention, where do they get off making such a rule? That's unconstitutional and illegal.

And i agree that it's bullshit that you would even expect insurance to pay for these at all. They're not life threatening in the least, insurance is to protect against catastrophic loss.

And the drugs cost that much because the companies have to MAKE MONEY. Do you have ANY clue what kind of capital it takes to develop one of these drugs? All of that has to be recouped before a company can even BEGIN to make money
