Thanks for the responses so far. I am a little discouraged to hear that HRT is for life. I need to really explore this before I make that jump. Is it typical that once you cycle, your natural levels do not return?

Twist, you said your base line dropped to the 50s. Do you feel it would have returned in time or do you think that the few cycles you did in your early twenties burned out your body's ability to produce testosterone?

What can I do to ensure a bounce back? If anything?

I take you are not impressed with the ZMA research that showed moderate gains in college athletes who took ZMA? I have read that it's a testosterone potentiator; meaning it allows the body to produce more Luteinizing Hormone, leading to moderate increases in testosterone. Are you saying this is false or are you saying that these gains are too low to be considered meaningful?

Part of the popularity of ZMA, so I've read, is that it has a peer reviewed clinical trail showing its efficacy. I'm curious what people here think about ZMA.

    Thanks again.

Bounce back...? you don't have a good baseline to bounce back to. Bouncing back is for people who have it. If you don't have it you don't have it, and it gets worse as you get older.

Mine would not have ever returned to normal levels because I did not have normal to begin with...
I hope you see what I am saying.

are you hoping that you will take a cycle and magically once you are off you will jump up to the 600 range for some reason? I hope your not thinking that, cuz it's not gonna happen. Love your levels or change them for life.

Thanks for the reality check. I'm going to do more research and keep reading here until I get a really clear idea if this is what I want and if my ideas match up wit the reality of HRT. I really appreciate the sobering response. Thank you.
