clomid/nolva not as pct

Got a questio for you fellas. Not sure if this was the right forumn to put this because it isnt a pct question. I also haven't done much research on it because im not sure if there is any info on it or not. Havent been on the boards in a while. My question is, Would taking nolva or clomid affect the sex of your kid if you were takin one or the other when she became pregnant. My wife and I have decided to start trying and I want a boy. Would either of these help make that happen? Any ideas?

Nolva --- Decreases the amount of estrogen in a body so you won't get gyno. (if a women uses it, then it becomes known as birth control)

Clomid --- sends signals to the males testicles so they will start reproducing testosterone again.

yeah, I wa goin off the basis of maybe the nolva since it was decreasing the estrogen would maybe in some way decrease the sperm that makes the females and the clomid bringing your test levels back may make you produce more sperm that make the males during that time. it was something I was just boucing off the wall.

Tamoxifen doesnt "decrease the amount of estrogen" in the body. It blocks its effects by binding to the ER. Ai's lower estrogen levels.

The OP, it shouldnt have an effect, no.

One thing that will though is Accutane (Isotretinoin). If one of you were using it and she became pregnant, there is a VERY high chance the baby will have birth defects. I wouldnt be trying for a baby if I (or she) had used that stuff in the last 12 months.
