Forget it, you're too young to be messing with steroids, no wonder you've already injured yourrself. At 21, I doubt your tendons are ready for the loads you're using. Slow down.

You dont exactly need a break unless the pain you feeling increases. I'd carry on .. and if it pains .. get a scan done to see if you've really torn a muscle or tendon.
Too Young ?? ah ..I guess you mean regular workout thing ?. I dont see him listing his age.
Ofcourse tendons injury is like.. and then you'll feel like
