    I think the best way to get good at fighting in MMA is to:

    First, practice MMA

    Second, fight MMA


    NOT:

    First, fight MMA
    Second, then learn MMA

    You should train before you fight not fight before you train. I don't understand why so many people do this. I understand you have wrestling experience but if you haven't even grappled a BJJ guy you may get your arm ripped off. Wrestlers leave arms hanging all the time.
