    Cardio/ Abs

How much cardio and abs do you do during the week? And what kinda of cardio do you do? Especially when the spring comes around for cutting? Just wondering what people do as part of their workout

abs are a muscle and muscles need time to recover.

abs eod and cardio 4-6 days at low intensity for 30-60 min keeping your hr in the fat burning zone; 200 - age x 65%. Or do HIIT eod for 20-30 min....

    Good luck!

Do you juice on abs days or take a day off the juice ?Don't think you need the oxygen for your lungs .Do you ?

When on cycle you stick to the cycle you outlined. so you take your shot whether or not you are doing abs that day, if thats what your shot schedule calls for.

i.e.: if your taking shots on mon and thurs you take your shots on those days whether you work abs on that day or not.

as far as oxygen goes, i really have no clue where you are trying to go with that part of your question.

i would like to know more on this issue as well. I am a former marathoner. Needless to say I am also a hardgainer. I have a very high metabolism. I can eat anything and gain nothing. Right now i have cut out ALL cardio because if i run I lose pounds like Oprah. I've gained 20lbs off of drinking protien shakes 4x's daily and eating as much protien/clean food as I can get but I am very limited in the diet area right now. When I get home I plan on getting a lot more serious about diet and I will need a lot more help from this website. It's helped me out a ton already, just can't do a whole lot about it.

+1..... i do abs once a week with weights and see much better results then 2 or 3x weekly.. of course people will respond to different methods but i would only go as far as 2x weekly... anything more and you are not effectively working your abs the way you should be... because they need rest!

i guess it really depends how many ab workouts your talking about, but abs do heal incredibly quick, i might be pushing it with every day but i do 4 sets of 1 ab workout every day, i rotate between lower upper and obliques.

as for the : "wrong!!!! please do not advocate false information on the boards!"

are you retarded man? i thought I was right and I was just trying to help and give some advice. I'm sick of people like you on this forum chewing people out for just sharing a piece of mind and trying to help.

Well if you "think" your right then say "I think this is what you do..."

people may think you know what your talking about and do what you recommend. In more serious matters that could be VERY detrimental to someones gains or even life. Simply disclose that your issuing your OPINION and not FACT and no one will "chew you out". haha

its a simple fix and will help everyone involved.

Evereybody is different when it comes to this. My workout partner has one of the most intense abs you've ever seen and he trains them everyday (5x a week anyway). I tried to go that route with him and after 3 weeks I felt my abs looked softer, less defined and felt weaker. I hit my abs once to twice a week and they look much better that way.
