    You should actually avoid rubbing the site. It used to be proper to rub it, but then they found out that rubbing can actually aid in irritation and swelling of the site. You will be fine with not rubbing it. If you want to help with the knots... try running hot water over the syringe before you inject it. Just make sure you don't get water on the needle as it can become unsteril. Also try injecting at a much much slower rate. Try between 1-3minutes to get the syringe cleared and in your system.

    Ok i could try that. I'll inject slower next time, no problem. Anything to get rid of the knots now tho?

    very true! rubbing the injection site actually increases the onset of SCAR TISSUE. my girlfriend is a nurse, mom is a nurse, and dad is a doc, ive heard it plenty of times to NOT RUB, but simply place an alcohol swab over the injection site until the bleeding stops and to ensure no oil comes out. you can also get VERY sore by injecting too many mL's in one spot
