Am i cheap?

My wife tells me im cheap, everytime we plan something she sayd my pockets go Squek, so everytime she thinks im cheap she goes squek squek, this all started when cvs had 80% off the valentine cards the day after valentines so i bought 8 for like $2
i mean there like $5 each the week before so why not i just signed them all then threw them in the safe so each year i pull 1 out and im g2g.
Then were deciding on a disney vacation and she wants to go for 4 days so we can get the 3 days passes which cost about $900
Imean WTF thats $900 just to get in the fuking park to see a fuking rat, Miney better be giving me some head for that price,

Have you been to Disney World or do you have friends that have gone recently? In my opinion, the park itself isn't much fun for adults (I live in Florida and have gone several times). As far as whether or not you're "cheap"...there's nothing wrong with saving money (there does come a point at which it can be extreme though).

lol, i live in Fl also like 2.5 hours away from the park but never been there with my kids yet so i was bringing them, thew trip is really for them but i was going to do 1 day 1 park all day, thats like $325 to get in then stay at a resort right out of the park, but they want to go all out and spend like $2500 in a 3day trip and stay at he disney resort, which ive heard from 3 different people that its not worth the extra money

As fare as the vacation. Its for your kids. Maybe dont go all out. But from what i hear 1 day at the park isnt enough.

yes, you are cheap. I would say staying outside the resort to save some cash is a good idea though. (as long as your not in a super8) the disney resort isn't all that nice.

Agreed with most of it. The cards. Hmmm I think that is pushing it a little. Christmas cards and most other holidays are fine but Valentines day? No you should do it year by year and go with the card that has relevance to the current situations/mood.

As far as money I agree, if she does not work get her ass out in the workforce or she has NO business telling you that you are cheap.

I ALWAYS look for deals on most everything. If you pay retail for everything either you have way to much money or you are stupid. Sometimes you have not choice but if you do why would you.

$900 for a 3 day pass? I would pass. That's WAY to much unless you are talking about 3 days for 4 people, then it had better include some food still.

It's also no ones business to tell you you are cheap if they dont know you personally and know what you make or know your bills. Sorry but $900 is a LOT to some people. $900 may mean the difference of having a place to stay and food for the month or starving. That's a whole month or even 2 moths salary for some people.

however the park thing, dont stay at the resort, stay outside the park, there are a ton of nice options that are in good area's.
you will save a ton....and be only 5 min. from the park...
hell in food alone you will save a couple hundred.

See im a suker for a deal, my thing is i buy things and flip them, like tools, guns, automobiles, whatever to make a nice profit


Now for the needles i just bought a needle sharpener for like $6 on ebay and resharpen then reuse same needle, down side to it is its gets a tiny smaller each time and for rubbers the po method works great

as for the vacation umm well it does involve the kids so you can justify it that way, but also you can spend smartly you dont end up blowing so much on the trip.
