I haventt read an awful lot about sling shot cycles. But the best way to gain LBM (IMHO) is to prime the body beforehand by dropping bodyfat, then going on cycle, or increasing doses (if your on HRT) and changing your training volume to suit LBM.
Whether that be increasing volume week by week, adding weight or training HIT/DC training (what I do), I dont know.
Take advantage of the rebound, not by just increasing calories.
- Prime for 6-10 weeks (reduce bf%)
- Begin cycle, increase doses or introduce new compounds
- Change training protocol (Peroidization/HIT/DC)
- Increase calories
