With all due respect, I completely disagree. Read the ingredients on natural PB. I don't know about yours, but mine says: Roasted Peanuts, Sea Salt. Now read the ingredients on Skippy, Jif, etc. - you're going to see a bunch of other crap in there. The difference is minimillay processed vs. highly processed, aside from the MUCH higher sugar content.

Q:Is there a huge difference between regular peanut butter and natural peanut butter?

A:Peanut butter today is remarkably like that made 100 years ago. All peanut butter must, by law, contain a minimum of 90% peanuts. Both natural and regular peanut butters may contain some sugar and salt for flavoring. Some brands also contain a small amount of stabilizer (partially hydrogenated vegetable oil) to keep the oil from separating, which most consumers prefer. This also helps maintain peanut butter freshness.
See bold. To the OP - are you using Optimum Nutrition Casein? It's the greatest! I've had the chocolate and vanilla; if that is the brand you're using, just wait until you try the vanilla!

GBrice - Nothing wrong with disagreeing. However I am yet to see any evidence indicating that Peanut butter with stablization is processed differently then natural peanutbutter.

Yup that's the stuff! I think they are trying to fake us out. It's actually candy ground into a powder.
