got deca stuck in my head cause of good gains when i was younger (sounds like it was mostly blind luck)
was reading about deca/dbol stack in william llewellyn's "Anabolics 2009"

I dont blame you for your misinterpretation of Deca. Back in the day, thats all I heard about, Deca this, Deca that, Deca is the king steroid... but running it how you propose is not a good idea, nor the ideal way to run the compound.
1) test should be included in every cycle. Read the profile on Deca, it can shut you down with a single 100mg shot.
2) ramping Deca is useless, again in the profile, you will see that in order for it to stabilize at any given dosage in the body, it takes 3-4 weeks. So if you run 200 for 4 weeks, then you will have it stable there at that point, but then ramping it to 300, it only becomes stable just as you are finishing your cycle so it really didnt do anything upping the amount. See the point? Either run it @ 200 or 300 and 8 weeks on Deca is very short, most will say 9-10 weeks minimum before you really see its gains and, again, most will say it really only becomes a potent muscle builder 400+/week.
