Whatever you do is obviously up to you, but the better of a base you build, the more advantageous aas will be for you. Also, your tendons will be stronger and you will be less injury prone. You want to get the most out of what you take, especially considering the different toxicities.
as far as "getting the most out of it", i think for my first cycle (assuming i actually do it) i dont want to go crazy with different compounds, etc, etc. i figure a nice safe dose of just test will give good gains and basically no sides as long as everything else is in check.
i know some people advocate an all out anabolic blitzkreig for your first cycle because there is the belief you experience the most/best gains during this time. however i much prefer to take the safer/veryy slow route and ease into this. im in no hurry.
