    The Terumos that I have are also one piece.

    Sometimes I use the same needle for both my AM and PM injection and that could be possibly why I'm bruising with the needle dulling from the rubber stopper.

    I would go ahead and ditch that practice. New one every time

    that's the likely cause of your bruising.. plus you're asking for an infection by reusing old pins.

    Well, I always disinfected it with an alcohol wipe but, since it it's dull from earlier use....that probably is what is causing the bruising and I think I'll just use them one time and see if the bruising quits.
