I really do not appreciate that. I'm not BSing you.

I'm looking for help guys. No one has even answered my questions: How important are the HCG and AI on TRT?

You need to talk to your doctor.. if you want to have kids eventually you may want to look at HCG/Clomid combo.

Not to hijack, but I'm also 21 and just started TRT. Test cyp. @ 200mg/week. I just finished loading 400mg/week for the first 3 weeks.

I'm kinda upset that I've started/needed TRT. At the same time, I feel 1000x better. I'm less lethargic, have more concentration, and have a better mood. I also have hypothyroidism - been on Synthroid for the past few weeks.

I've never done a cycle, always ate a very healthy diet, exercised regularly... don't know why my hormones are where they are. My libido, weight, strength, and motivation all slowly decreased over the past year and a half. After constantly being cold (low basal body temperature), I went in for blood tests. My testosterone was 38.5 (extremely low). FSH/LH were also very low. TSH was normal, T3/T4 was low. MRI showed no tumors (prolactin normal). Puberty was also normal.

I talked to my Endocrinologist and said that he has a few patients take HCG but most don't. He said if fertility may become an issue, but can always reverse the issue. Second, he said an AI shouldn't be needed and never prescribes it - this is all according to him. I asked about estrogen levels as a concern. He said if testosterone is in within normal ranges, there is no need to worry about estrogen.

I'm starting to experience testicular atrophy. I'll raise the question on my next visit - do most TRT patients here take HCG? Do most take an AI?

i don't know about most but from what i've seen if you don't use HCG or something similar you will suffer testicular atrophy.. i can certainly tell the difference the first few days after my HCG shot that my boys certainly seem more up to the job than later on down the road..
