Sugar in the tank will work trust me. It will clog up the injectors and scratch the shit out of the cylinders destroying the rings. She will have to change all fuel components and may still have to replace motor afterwards depending on how long she drives it before it stops. Sugar is better than sand because it is lighter and will carry through the lines rather then sit at the bottom of the tank.

I sold used cars in the ghetto for six years and we lost countless cars from people putting sugar in the tank. I don't believe caramelization is what does it. If it stays in it's regular form it would easily scratch cylinder heads and clog injectors. The reason it's so dangeous is because every little bump or curve gets it all mixed up in the tank again and picked up by the pump

crobar the fuel lid and pour about 1kg of sugar in the fuel tank and its ****ed for life.
