I am going to re-post this part since it wasn't answered yet
let's say a cutting diet was perfectly implemented, and person A took anavar, and person B took nothing. Would person A lose fat at a faster rate than person B?

Never done var, but almost everyone I know in real life has used it, and my impression is that it just helps you hold on to that lean body mass while you drop the fat.
In other words, A and B lose the same fat (let's say), it's just that B will lose more muscle doing it.
But that's according to conventional wisdom about bulking/cutting. IMO you can burn fat and gain muscle at the same time w/o drugs or supplements.
