I'm going to politely disagree with asking for a number for your test to be at. I think you should give it the 2 months and then judge by how you feel whether your dosage needs changed. The BW is helpful but you may feel great at 600 and like crap at 1000. You may be side effect free at 600 and have to deal with E2 issues at 1000. The blood work will let you know where you are but only you can tell how you feel.

Although your blood level may be up after 2 or 3 weeks it may take longer than that for your body to adjust to your new level.

I must politely disagree with you politely disagreeing. The premise of my argument is that we are motivated to educate ourselves, want to find an optimal level of test for our lives, and that our Dr's often stand in the way of achieving an optimal state because of their personal bias or ignorance.

For example his Dr had him on gels not shots in the first place. It took his initiative to get switched from testim to shots. His Dr proves his on bias in the statement "He says he wants me to feel good but not like the incredible hulk" off .5cc or 1cc?? absurd.

You also seem to think that 100mg a week is a magical starting point, however it is only an arbitrary one his Dr threw up in the air. Waiting 2 months at 100mg vs 150mg or 200mg is a matter of wasted time. At 100mg the probability he will need to increase dose is high, at 150mg maybe, 200mg might be high but he can ease off. So Why spend 2 months of his life at a subpar level when he can avoid otherwise?

As for 1000 level, you to take my statement that I got my Dr to commit to 1000 as telling him to do the same. In fact, I asked what level was he comfortable with shooting for. Of course as you go up the curve potential side effect are come in play.

In line with the underlying premise, if at 1000 sides were bad then it would be reduced to a level that was optimal.

He started me at 5g of testim, I sent him an email after a week explaining how the benefits had crashed off, and he sent me back another email telling me to bump it up to 10g, I am pretty sure he will bump me to 150 if I am experiencing problems, hell I had to buy a 10ml vial because my ins only covers 30 day supplies, I have enough to last a while.

See all the pain and suffering this poor guy had to endure! Cyp 200mg off the bat then adjust.
