I think I would have lost a ton of size and strength while I dieted down, would have had a ton of lose skin, and so forth. I also think psychologically it would have been hard on me, like you said, turning into a little skinny jerk off when I was used to being the biggest one in the bar (even if I wasnt in the best shape).
My "secret" is that I ignored the experts and jumped in the deep end right from the start. I stayed big (even got bigger) while gradually losing the fat. I wish that the Myth about having to lose all the fat first would just go away.
