well im sorry,,,,if someone is trying to kill you,,,man,woman or child,,,then using reasonable force is the only way to go,,,,,now someone wielding a knife more than likely wont be affected by words!......and in most cases the person you hit would more than likely be glad you did so rather than be arrested for murder!
