Ship my own gear to my hotel?

So I'll be going to Hawaii here this summer, I don't want to get hung up at the airport and all. Should I just ship my gear to my hotel in Hawaii?
I think that would be better than trying to bring it with me on the airport.

just be careful of some jobs worth employee at the hotel, i mean its a bit sus someone having a parcel send to their hotel while on hols, who does tht? you dont want The Dog after you lol

well plenty of reasons I would say to the hotel, I forgot my vitamins i'm having them shipped here. I mean actually I don't have to tell them anything at all..

dont know how relevant it is but i stashed 3 amps of prop and 3 pins in my check in luggage when i was flying from ireland to portugal with no probs, but we just get a slap on the wrist here if detected

I've seen xanax footballs that look just like Aleve or Var that looks like Excedrin. How is it possible for airport security or even international customs to know if someone just put pills into an OTC medication container? It's not like Var is an opiate or something a dog would detect is it? And, they don't have a lab at the airport to test the stuff. Maybe I am dead wrong about that theory but it would seem like rx's and orals could be easily put into different containers without anyone noticing. Unless you had a thousand of em or something.

in my carry on. It was in a bottle of oxy elite pro, a legal fat burner. They have no reason to suspect it's steroids in there
