On a side note, the thyroid is a relatively, lets say, 'dumb' or 'slow' gland, even weeks into treatment of exogenous thyroid hormones, it will still continue to produce t4, TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) will drop quite rapidly. The t4/t3 feedback system is quite complex. To put things simply, you will bounce back very quickly after a 4 week cycle, maybe even in 2 weeks or less. I would bet on less.

Like BJJ stated, get your full thyroid panel checked, but if you can't, then get TSH checked as this will determine how much t4 you make.

My last TSH blood test came back on the low-normal range, and this was after 2 months on T3, so my body was still producing T4, even though i was supplementation with exogenous T3.
