for sure. youll get just as much muscle off the regular whey protein, as a gainer. they both supply 24 grams of protein per scoop. which is the wrong way to look at it. just focus on 50 grams of protein per shake. two a day and casein at late night to keep you anabolic during your long sleep.
if your getting your bodymass requirements in protein, then your good to go.
look at porter cottrell, 1994 number 6 mr. olympia. he never did the dirty bulk cycle. he never had a cutting cycle. man, any day of the year his skin was so thin he looked like muscle wrapped in saran wrap. just shear muscle. i told him i didnt understand why guys did the dirty bulk cycle and then spent three painful months cutting. and he told me he felt the same way, he eats clean 24 to 7. none of that calorie/fat gainer stuff. the regular whey will put it on you cleanly at the same rate. and i read that other ifbb feel the same way.
