well i don't want to be too persistent here, but i guess the more informed i can be the better !
i guess i just wonder why i hear about many of the other players, or opponents taking it at this exact point in their careers before they have reached they upper years in the sport, and become a much higher target for testing, and for some of these athletes it has provided them with a great push to bring them over the top, and even make it to the professional level.
i just really have been let down by my upper body strength over the last few years, and feel like it is not progressing what so ever. for example, last august during testing i was unable to lift 225, so i ended up repping 185x4. At this point a year later (although my summer training tailed off a bit, the rest of the year i was dedicated to my training, and supervised with it) i find myself still only able to lift 225 for 1 rep.
so i am in need of some form of help. and i dont quite know where to turn, i was really surprised yesterday when i had literally a group of about 10 other teammates suggest the idea of steroids with my year off from competition, and thus testing as well.
any suggestions on a solid chest regiment would be more then welcome as well for maximum strength gains (the key is im not trying to body build, im trying to compete in my sport)
