Get married, and your life is over.
I don't understand how you can believe in a God and not get married at some point. Those two concepts aren't in harmony; either you believe and eventually it feels right, or you don't believe.

But I know where you are coming from. You're trying to save me some pain and I respect you for it.

I'm sure she's gonna think of god when she takes half of your belongings with her.

CherryDrPepper, don't take this the wrong way, but do you really know what you want out of your life? Like, what are your goals, short and long term?

I only say this because about 3 weeks ago you posted a thread about leaving your best friend to stay with some juicehead you barely knew because "lifting and chasing tail" were the two most rewarding things a man can do.

And now, after a second date with this girl, you are thinking of getting married?

Honestly, don't take this the wrong way but you sound a little confused about what you want out of life. Prehaps you're thinking of marriage because what you are craving is some stability in your life? A constant?

EDIT: What the fvck has believing in God got to do with marriage? Do athiests not get married? Are people incapable of falling in love without the good Lord involved??

If god and marriage were still connected then the divorce rate would not be as high as it is. Not getting divorced just because of your religion is a thing of the past and so is getting married just because of it.

Religion has become a crutch not a lifestyle.

    I don't believe in God.

At least not a 'God' in the way that the majority of people on this planet would think of 'him' existing. But that's a discussion for another time.

And this is coming from someone who is a former born again Jewish (yes, I said JEWISH) believer in Jesus. I dropped that crap a year and a half ago after holding on to it for nearly 15 years.

But my opinions on marriage really have nothing to do with my religious/deistic beliefs. Marriage is an outdated obsolete concept in this day and age.
