Proper Disposal of Syringes?

I chew on mine until there is nothing left.... hahahaha
When by accident I buy the ones that auto detract when finished I just toss it in the trash otherwise I take the needle off with the cover and put it in a sharps container, The syringe I either toss or save of??? You never know when you need to measure out something and it's fun in the summer to fill them with salt water and inject it into slugs.... hahahaha Yeah I did that as a kid.... Im bad.... but NO I never tortured frogs (almost never). I had friends (girls) who use to pour bbs into frogs mouth and throw them into the pond/lake since they could not swim anymore.
