Apply the dawn soap to the brush and vigorously scrub the acne areas for how ever long of a time works (3-5 minutes) Make sure the water is very hot and try to shower 2-3 times daily if possible.

Chances are high that if you use this method you will end up with inflammed and seriously pissed off acne. The way I use dawn is to apply it in the shower and let it sit for 3-5 minutes while I wash hair, shave, etc. then wash it off. After drying off I spot treat any stubborn areas leaving the dawn on for 15-20 minutes and then wipe off before putting on my shirt. If you have really stubborn areas - I don't suggest this for the average person, but I've applied dawn (not on the face or neck) and then tanned, this will dry out zits faster than anything I know.
