Did what was possibly my best workout ever today. I worked my chest and front delts. 4 sets of incline fly's, used the same weight as I did last week but got a couple extra reps out of the first 2 sets, I really was letting my arms stretch way down too. Some older guy was commenting to his workout partner next to me about the risks of letting the weights go that low. After each of the 4 sets I got about 5 incline presses directly after each set. an improvement over last week when I didn't do any. When I went to flat bench press my front delts were burning like crazy so I had to go lighter on the 3 sets of flat bench presses. My front delts were burning so much I didn't know if I'd be able to drive home as in lifting my arms up on the steering wheel.

I've got some fairly decent muscle mass from the past few weeks, I went back on var yesterday after about a week or so break. Due to the body comp change in my upper body I am gonna drop the weight gainer shakes and go high, high solid proteins, keto-ish unless it affects my mental status changing up my carb % so much and so quickly. But my physique can handle some drop in bf now and I also like to listen to my body re: the way I eat and I'm feeling the need to shovel those proteins in my gullet.

I go back to work next week, I've been away for a few weeks out sick and I think ppl are gonna question whether I was really sick or if i was at football camp or something. Fortunately I'm too old to play at 43 and can explain how my illness interfered with my ability to work but only interfered with my ability to work out for about a week. I'm expecting comments about my body comp change from co-workers and not sure how I will respond.

Interesting this sounds a bit fishy, remember I'm on ignore so don't comment on my post

I stumbled across your log and I think if you look at yourself honestly you (like myself) may find you tend to go a little bit overboard, your statement about doing a double workout day and someone asking if you were O-K as you staggered to the showers and then missing a couple of days due to being sick stand out. Also if you look honestly at comment like I saw my biceps were larger than 2 days ago and my viens were visible on my shoulders that were not yesterday shows somewhat unrealistic expectations, the change in the viens was probably due to rocketing blood pressure, the biceps due to engorgment. Then there are all the comments about gaining a pound yesterday and loosing a pound today, these are just flutuations in the amount of water/crap in your body at any given time.

I am really not trying to bust you ass here, just saying that a well planned (smaller/less) cycle and a more consistant/moderate workout and diet schedule would probably serve you better. By the way I speak from experience here, I just completed my first cycle of Tren A and TNE at 60/75 ed and after PCT and another month of recovery, I plan to incorporate a much milder cycle the next time around.

Thanks for the feedback Far from massive. I may tend to go a bit overboard, I think it's due to the excitement I am feeling at the changes I am seeing and feeling and performing for the better. The guy asking me if I was ok and being in bed sleeping for the most of 2 days after a couple or 3 double workout days is not untruthful, frankly it was poor workout schedule planning on my part. I've been out of work for the past few weeks so have had a lot of extra time on my hands and really shouldn't be doing any double workout days.

I also realize that the initial show of veins was due to putting var in my system, not due to me adding 2 inches of permanent lean muscle mass on my arms overnight, it was a combo of a nice pump I was excited about plus it just felt nice to see the veins emerge, particularly given my high bf.

I also agree with the more moderate/consistent workout schedule would be better and it is a change I have already made. My diet is less than ideal as well, I imagine that it will continue to improve over time, but it's not bad right now at all, in fact it's pretty good.

Since midnight I've had 4 glasses of fat free milk, 1 banana, 2 pieces of ezekiel bread, 6 egg whites, about 5 tablespoons of black beans, 2tbsp of natty pb, and 3 lg turkey burgers. It's 12noon right now where I am so if you want to critique my food consuption I would appreciate any feedback you have to offer.

I respect your opinion on the smaller/less cycle but at age 43 have decided that I want to pack on the muscle at an accelerated pace so I am pushing things cycle wise at a higher throttle level than is recommended. I really have zero interest in spending the next 5 years pushing myself to get to my natural limit and then turning towards steroids. So this is an area in which I respect your advice as well but am going to just say I have made up my mind to get where I want to be physically within 5 years and will agressively cycle (2x/yr) until I get where I want to be. I'm not trying to be 290lbs ripped so I don't think I will have a problem reaching my goal within 5 years.

I"m also open to any other feedback you have to offer and hope you are mature enough to respect that I respectfully decline to follow your advice in following the standard cycle progression recommendations and not let that get in the way of you offering any other critiques that you may have. I've got a couple of troll fan boys in this thread that are on my ignore list due to offering feedback in either an ignorant, arrogant, immature, or some other type of dickish way.

Thanks for taking the time to provide me with your insights. It is appreciated.

This is the reason you will never get any advice. You will continue with the wrong cycle, the wrong diet and the wrong training. At your age you would think that you would at least took some advise from vets before you went on this binge to nowhere. Just so you know I am also 43 years old and started my first cycle this year but listened to a few vets I trust before I started my cycle. My diet was perfect for 6 months prior and I went from 30%bf to just under 14%bf on the keto diet and daily cardio. I did a very mild cycle with test and var with a gain of 10lbs at the end. That doesn't sound like much but I am very happy with it. I'm not looking to gain extreme mass but nice solid lean ones without getting crazy amounts of gear.
My diet is very consistent with mostly whole food nothing processed or out of a can. My training is 5 days a week and I know my body well so if I want to throw in another day I do. But if my body tells me to rest then its time to take it easy for a day or two.
Sorry for causing you some trouble in this thread but I found it very amusing and lacked self control. Just though I would let you know where I was coming from I looked at your thread and you were the same age and on the same cycle, then I started reading and all I could see into this was train wreck waiting to happen. It looked like it was to much of a disaster to be true. Just being honest here.
Not sure how you want to take this but I thought I owed you a explanation.
