    its cause people are leaving the high cost of living citys to lower cost of living i mean just out of the blue lincoln nebraska 2 bedroom apt 375 bucks

    yes johnny we have declined 7% since 2000 and i will tell you why-

    highest sales tax in the nation
    highest gas tax in the nation
    rampant corruption
    pay to play politics
    police abuse/brutality
    taxes on bottled water, soda, amusement, and tires
    one of the highest liquor taxes
    one of the highest cigarette taxes
    outdated public transportation

    these are the major downfalls to a city that is close to defaulting on its payments and have a billion dollar deficit in the city budget, we wont even get into the state.
