    thats exactly what im gonna do. i set up the appointment with my doc for tuesday and then gonna see an endocrinologist. by no means am i hoping/trying to get on hrt. that's the last option on the menu right now and i'd like to avoid it if possible. thanks for all the advice to everyone in this thread.

    Glad to hear you are taking the good advice and seeking a lot more tests and a second opinion before jumping into anything. That said if after getting a second opinon and more lab tests done and the endo's and doc's feel that the only way to address your condition is through TRT don't be afraid to go that route, the small number of sides from legitimate substitution ( an amount that produces good blood levels) of natural test far outwieghs the problems of a life with low test. Think of it like diabetes taking insulin for the rest of your life sucks too but it sure beats the hell out of the alternatives.
