I'd pick a unicorn. I'd tame it and fly around on it's back. I'd visit the pyramids in Egypt and decide for myself if they were built by aliens. Then I'd go to Atlantis and figure out why it sank.

I'm pretty sure some unicorns can indeed fly- they just prefer not to. I wouldn't give mine a choice.
