Probably taking it a little too far.
Hypertension is really just a result of many other problems. It's why when once you have it is very hard to reverse. And in cases where medications are not righting the problem it means it is not a blood volume issue (too much fluid), but rather peripheral resistance likely due to systemic inflammation (which is linked back to pretty much all chronic diseases).
I would be more concerned with cardiomyocyte concentric hypertrophy. That is something that is highly theorized as the risk of AAS, but just impossible to prove due to all of the other variables. Worst part about it is you don't know you have it until it’s too late. Heart failure is guaranteed to come and once you enter that it’s all downhill.
Side note - high bp will cause cardiomyocyte dilated hypertrophy which also leads to heart failure. One of the biggest reasons why blood pressure needs to be kept in check the best it can.
