finasteride will block most of the dht...1mg a day should be enouph low to mid range doses like 400-750mg but once you get into a gram or more of test a day you might want to up the dose to double or triple that.

Also nizoral shampoo is good to use with finasteride 3-4 times a week. Helps block DHT at the hair and scalp.
