    IF (and this is a huge IF) he's bound up by SHBG then the use of nettle root extract can be used to suppress the enzymes which produces SHBG. Lower SHBG means more FT and Bio T if aroamtase is normal or low or it can end just getting converted to E2 as well.

    He needs a complete Thyroid assay to see how it's performing.

    yeh thats what i heard too...just dont hear it often....are there ANY side effects to nettle root

    Yea man, Stinging Nettle Root can also interfere with the conversion of T to DHT and we need DHT (libido!!!) and the OP has low DHT so this is not an option for hiim anyway. The OP needs to see a specialist to sort things out.
