Understood mate, didn't realize your fats were already relatively low, and agreed about staying under 400g carbs.
The only statement i'd debate you on (and not to derail this thread, sorry OP!) is
'Energy is energy' ... I don't believe it's quite that simple, and research would suggest dietary fats are more readily stored as bodyfat vs. carbs. Lyle McDonald talks about this quite a bit which i'm sure you're already aware.
