Can someone please help me figure out what I need to do to get this estrogen down.

THIS IS MY PROTOCAL AS OF SEEING HIM LAST WEEK(BEFORE HE GOT RESULTS IN)

    250 mg Test Cyp EW
1mg of Anastozole Monday, Wednesday, Friday

I will say this, since I started taking the 1 mg pills this week, I have lost 4 pounds on the scale. I know its probably water weight, but could it be I need to take this much AI to keep my estrogen low.

When should I go back and do more blood work? Is there anything I should tell him to test for this next time that he did not test for this time?

Any advice or interpretation on these results would be very appreciated. Thanks in advance.
    i think yes..

Sorry NSM, missed the part on the AI.

I agree with Jman; 3 mgs a week on 250 mg of T is a bit aggressive and will have an immediate affect on inhibiting the production of your aromatase enzymes. You should feel and see results within day (like you are)!

As for your question re TSH (and Slimmerme can chime in here as well); anything over a 1 is suspect of a problem and anything over 2 should be investigated and over 3 real potential problem. The lab ranges for TSH are way out of whack and most Endo's know this. Many labs are starting to change them now.

All that being said, your Free T3 and T4 are great so you don't have any real issues. Try adding iodized salt to your diet, make sure your multi has iodine in it and you can try some kelp supplements to make sure your thyroid is getting the right amount of iodine. Our diets don't have a lot of iodine anymore, and with people taking less salt many folks walk around with under supplied iodine stores in their thyroid...not a good thing for obvious reasons.

Thank you fir the response. I don't use that much salt. And a lot of the times I use the fake salt. I will check my multiple vitamin. How much iodine should I require. I will also look into the kelp. Should I stay on the 1mg dose of Anastrazole until I go back for blood work again? When should I go back? 6 weeks?

Is there anything else I should look into fixing?

Just checked my multivitamin(Optimum Nutrition Opti-Men) and it has 100mcg of Iodine(as kelp) in it. How much Iodine should I be taking a day?

That's low; you should be getting 400 mcg daily.

Also, best taken along with Iron and Sodium for better uptake. Look into Nature's Way Kelp, Sea - it has it all in one.

Also for Thyroid take 100 mg of selenium as well.
