Hope everyone is well. 38 year old male, 5 foot 6, and 190lbs. I need help in establishing a baseline (If that's even possible at this point). Prior to beginning treatment I knew absolutely ZILCH about trt. My doctor ordered a total T test and it came back at 252ng. Based only upon my presenting symptoms, and a single solitary blood test, my doc prescribed Test Cyp @ 200mgs every two weeks.

Now I am aware that she did not have nearly enough information to effectively diagnose and treat properly, but I was ignorant and uneducated at the time, not to mention desperate for any kind of relief. I have only had two injections of Test Cyp at 200mgs. The first one was Thursday June 23, and the last injection that I had was last Monday June 27. I know the math doesn't add up to a two week dosing schedule, as I thought more would be better, kind of cheated, and gave myself a shot before I was scheduled.

I had very extensive blood work drawn this morning, as I quickly educated myself, and ordered the doc to test for just about everything that I read on this forum (I mean EVERYTHING). 1.Taking the information that I presented into account, was I not at, or at the very least, pretty darn close to baseline at this morning when my blood was drawn? 2.Will the tests that I took this morning be indicative of where I was PRIOR to my first Test inject?3. If not, how skewed could it possibly be? 4.Also, couldn't baseline be calculated by factoring in the half-life of my dosage of Test Cyp (or would that only help with T calculations and not with LH, FSH, Estradiol, SHBG, etc.)?

PLEASE HELP!!! I'm clueless and confused as hell.

    Thanks...........

    1. doubt it and why should it and what if it is?
2.look at answer for #1....is it not the same question?
    3.skewed from what, 252ng?...oh..baseline..thats right....
    4. if it can..calculate it, post it, and then when u get your bloodwork back compare and post

what exactly are you worried about?

I am worried about the fact that my doctor did not perform all necessary testing prior to administration of treatment, and I lost my opportunity to establish a true baseline which would assist me in obtaining optimal treatment and results. Do I abstain from treatment at the moment until I can get a more accurate baseline, or will my baseline not be too far off, hence allowing me to closely approximate baseline numbers, and continue treatment?

    Thanks
