My buddy told me the exact same thing, but I pinned pretty high actually. 3/4 of the way to the hip, when measured from knee to hip. I actually pinned lower (about 1/2 way between knee and hip) on the other leg, and no problems.

Maybe I hit the lymph system. Doing a high-rep squat workout the day after the injection probably didn't help either.

Still, I am probably not going to be pinning the quads again. I don't have the balls to go through this, or worse, again.

I should have been more specific, midthigh is the preffered location. However many pin toward the knee for whatever reason and this often causes needless pain, but if you were midthigh this is not the case. One other thing I recommend to all my clients is that before injecting they get in the position they will be when pinning ( sitting, lying etc.) and flex the muscle slightly to locate the middle of the vastus lateralis muscle, then before pinning naturally relax the muscle. Many mistakenly pin the edge of the vastus intermedius or worse yet the area between the lateralis and intermedius. When pinning midthiigh it is very easy to not be centered in the lateralius muscle and this often causes problems.

    Thanks for the replies guys.
I rubbed some Rub-A535 Heat onto it, applied a Heat Pack, and rubbed the shit out of it. Took some Ibuprofen, too. Feels WAY better today. Must have either been the oil pooling in there, or a tense muscle or something. Should have just done that earlier, but you live you learn.

I cant pin anything other than thighs.
Take an easy ride on the bike at the gym for 20 minutes or so the day of the injection. I have ZERO pip when I hit the bike afterwards.

If its not swollen, red, or hot, it is not infected. Just wait it out. It will get better.

Did you get pharma grade or from a UGL?
