We need some deep cuts, and we need them now.
Borrow 5 trillion, then cut 2 trillion and that is their balanced budget. Those will be the type of cuts we can expect.

    if a stack of 100 $1 bills = 1/2 inch, then $1Trillion would be a stack 70,000 miles high

hahahaha, it's really is funny, when I was 7 or 8 watching the news with my dad and they are talking about the budget and all I said WTF (not those words) how is it a cut in spending. Government math. They spent 15 million on a study on slugs mating last year. The same program wants 25 million this year. The government said no, we will only give you 20 million and that = a cost saving of 5 million? Holly new math.... No, that = 20 million of spending, no savings.

If this new "super committee" can't come up with another 2 trillion in cuts, there are triggers that automatically do it. And 50% comes out of defense, and 50% out of entitlements. Both on the supply side, not the consumer side.

At this point, I'm hoping it comes to that.
