He was also advocating the tapering technique to coming off cycle (which I definitely disagree about using). He is right about the drugs being used in PCT are serious ****ing drugs and not something to just carelessly use to fix something. And he's also right about research isn't reading what some asshole wrote in a message forum. Still I don't know if I agree with him about not having a PCT.

I also want to add that he might be right about the early 90's physiques compared to today's, but what about the general health of those athletes compared to the ones now? All the muscle in the world doesn't mean shit if your liver and kidneys are going to fail you.

Nothing we do should be done carelessly, and everything we do (compound and hormone wise) is ****ing serious. Just because PCT drugs are "****ing serious" doesn't mean they aren't to be used. They serve a very specific purpose to us and to those of us who choose to pay attention to what we are doing they very successfully execute what we need them to. We all (those of us who pay attention anyway, which I could say of most of the regulars here) are "****ing serious" about these things.

His points are redundant...PCT drugs are serious and water is wet. Awesome.

    EDIT:

Re-reading his posts, it seems he's angry because of the new standard on these types of forums...which is to recommend a PCT consisting of this and that. Me, personally, I don't use HCG and I come out fine with just Nolvadex and Clomid for my PCT (done this several times). He's complaining how theres no "proof" and it's "bro science"...well so is everything he's saying. He's not citing any "proof" either and what the other members are saying is just as valid as anything he's saying, he just thinks it's better because it's old school.

I get the feeling he's very competitive and has fallen behind the curve a bit and it's made him just a tad bitter.

    From one of his posts:

"I have lost size and strength - but I completely stopped training at about the time I came off due to financial issues, and havent been eating right - so inevitable really - nothing to do with PCT or lack thereof."

He does a great job at pointing out the holes in the accepted PCT theory over there, but forgets that his idea of simply stopping and not doing anything is not only full of holes, rather it is a giant hole. I had plenty of friends that got on gear as teenagers and had no regard for PCT or even knew what it was, and I swear to you a few of them pop Viagra like its candy because they just cant get one up.

I've talked to a lot of people about gear and gear use and what not, some recreational people, some athletes, some competitive BBs and some healthcare professionals. I've never heard ANYONE say that PCT isn't necessary.

Don't use the word "we" in regards to taking those drugs seriously. You might, but how many people on here are carelessly taking those drugs like clomid, arimidex, nolva without so much as to even weighing in the pros and cons of each choice. I'm personally not advocating going without a PCT, but he brings up a valid point about that.

I granted wouldn't take any of his advice as a battle strategy, but you have to admit, he does bring up points to question what and why we do something.

Yeah, I know there are tons of people who just throw stuff down in the hatch and into the quads without blinking an eye. I hoped I had done a good job of pointing out that there are plenty of people who DO pay attention to whats going on, and DO do the research etc etc.

those of us who choose to pay attention to what we are doing
