no, 2wks and hold on at 3wks!!
the cough is from any compound entering a vein, ive only ever had it from test prop, once. 'tren cough' is a forum circulating broscience myth, always pin with a fresh needle, not the drawing needle, and you decrease the chances of this substantially.
Thanks for the replies. I always draw with a 25G then swap for either a 23G or 25G depending on where im shooting
you should be fine, but anyone can be unlucky enough to go through a vein and then when withdrawing a minute amount of compound gets in the bloodstream, but in literally 100's of pins, its happened me once and mainly because in a hurry i brain faded and injected with the needle i withdrew from the vial with![]()
The cough is dependent on whats in the solution. Usually Benzyl Alcohol (for homebrews, pharm grade put much more complex combo in their stuff) its cuz it crosses the barrier in the lungs, so it gives the feeling of liquid in the lungs which the normal reaction is coughing.

"The only systemic side-effect was episodes of sudden-onset, non-productive cough associated with faintness following eight injections [1.5% (0.6–2.9%)] which we speculate may have been due to pulmonary oil microembolism."

...formulations containing the preservative benzyl alcohol are not recommended for use in neonates. There have been reports of fatal 'gasping syndrome' in neonates (children less than one month of age) following the administration of intravenous solutions containing the preservative benzyl alcohol. Symptoms include a striking onset of gasping respiration, hypotension, bradycardia, and cardiovascular collapse.
So you are right, it all about getting it into a vein, no matter what the compound is; also, the needle shouldnt make a difference but you should always inject with a fresh needle anyways for other reasons
