This is a serious surgery, not even sure if prolotherapy could help you on this or not. Once again the problem here is mis information, that leads to confusing, is it good or not, and the lack of knowlege by the people either giving the treatment or doing the surgery.
Its quite amazing that with all our human evolution we are just starting to look into TRT and HRT, my medical doctor as been putting people on TRT for 15 years, which is a very short period of time if you consider that testosterone as been around for so long.
I have been put on TRT for 6 months when my body failed to heal with prolotherapy, that is not a surgery but more of a ligament and tendon treatment therapy. He told me that since my test level where low my body did not heel itself as it should and testosterone would speed the process, he gave me tones of example of how people who been put on the therapy and heeled a lot faster. He is the expert i am not.
For your case i am not sure at all.
