So should I just use a pressure cooker on the vials that have the gear in them??? Will they explode???

Also, I have stopped my cycle until I can get everything straightened out, so I was on for 2 weeks, my question is do I need to follow PCT, or is 2 weeks so little time that I can safely rebound without PCT???

Swifto, I found out after I made my gear that alcohol was not sufficient for sterilizing glassware, I guess its just live and learn.

Thanks again for all the help everybody…….

I do this to all my finished vials.
So long as there is a bit of space at the top for the oil to expand, you'll be fine.
To be safe, use a syringe in each to draw a vacuum first.

To my knowledge, the only bacteria that can survive those temps are extremely rare (like bottom of the Marianas Trench next to a magma vent rare), not the sort of thing you'd encounter in your house.

If you're still paranoid, do it once, then repeat 24 hours later to kill any spores that may have survived and now germinated. This is the idea behind Tyndalization, though autoclaving should kill even the spores that boiling does not.
