Well I dunno man, I've just never come across anything ever that looks like that. More testing on yourself might be needed, but a lot of people here think you could be taking winny.

I have purchased var powder several times. Typically it is fairly dense, as opposed to drol that has a tendency to be fluffy/powdery. The size of the particulate matter (grains) of var really depend on who manufactured, and how it was processed.

Drol reminds me (sort of) of powdered sugar (texture, not flavor)
Var reminds me (sort of) of a fine grit sand, except a little lighter in weight
