I run at a pace of 10kph for 3 mins followed by stretching and warm up sets for what ever muscle group I'm lifting that day...
Is there anything wrong with this routine as far as warming up goes or could I improve it?

I'm not sure , but I try to get my heart rate little bit up. You could try to crank up the speed little bit after every minute.
Purpose of this is to get your pulse up and starting to sweat little bit.
