I am most likely not going to take AAS, but I am still curious about Anavar's effects on someone my age. I know it has a high Anabolic:Androgenic Ratio (300:20-ish) and it doesn't aromatize like dbol and such. And it is supposed to have very little and sometimes no effect on the HPTA (hypothalmic-pituitary-testicular-axis), and it is also approved for usage on children of short stature meaning it does not effect one's epiphyseal plates. I have done a fair amount of research on it and feel it would be the safest choice, because like DEC11 said "what comes up must come down" and since Anavar does not effect testosterone to a great extent I think that there would be little side effects when coming off.

I consume between 4000 and 4500 calories a day and work out 5-6 days a week with both practice and our school run mandatory 2 hour workout. I also do yoga once a week to improve my flexibility. I also drink 2 protein shakes of 52g per shake daily and am taking creatine monohydrate as well. I bust my ass everyday but I want more improvement, because to be honest I don't feel I deserve the scholarship I have been given so I don't want to ride the bench for 2 of my 4 years. Any advantage I can get that will put me on the field I am willing to fight for.

Thank you all for your input, it has really helped! I hope you guys have more to say.

'sometimes' is the key word and everyones 'extent' is different, its a gamble plain and simple, i ended up on trt and i only started aas at 31, because you arent fully developed, you are at GREATER risk. i competed plifting at a high standard for 16yrs and continued to make natty gains into my early 30's. you can also.

layout one days diet for us to we see where these 4000-4500 cals are coming from, cause atm im 225lbs and can tell you im not eating anywhere near 4500cals

Kid, you don't need to juice yet. I understand that you're going to be playing for a D1 Lacrosse program, and congratulations on that but there is no need for you to juice. You've made it onto a D1 squad WITHOUT the need to juice. You still have plenty of room to grow in various fields including strength, speed, and lax skills go and I'm sure you'll continue to improve being coached at a D1 Program.

My old highschool bred d1 lacrosse and football players and I was one of those guys. I chose football over lax but alot of my friends went D1 in lax, my brother graduated recently and they had one of the top classes of D1 recruits in the nation. The kids there, as far as the lax team went never juiced and im positive of that because they weren't the strongest kids but they certainly were some of the fastest. Speed kills and speed is just like strength, you just gotta keep training to improve in both of them and you can do it naturally. There isn't a need for you to be juicing for lax a this point, just get yourself a trainer during the off-season and summer going into freshman year of college, you'll be fine. As long as you're willing to bust your ass and give full dedication to your craft, there is no reason why you shouldn't be one of the or theee best freshman in your incoming class of laxers bros. (sry..just had to say it lol)

Good luck and keep working hard.
