    So what to do if not eligible to donate but RBC and iron are high.???

    As posted, you can get a script from the doctor.

    Increased iron could be resulted from hemochromatosis, or from being a genetic carrier of the disease. I highly recommend that while everyone is reviewing their CBC panel, make sure you run a ferritin lab, and other iron related panels (TIBC, UIBC, iron serum and saturation) to make sure this disease is not part of your genetic disposition. If it is, then it will give you that much more of a reason to want to donate blood.
