Correct. The most modern cars will run on crap gas and be happy. They can adjust things like timing on the fly to prevent preignition etc. I don't think my older, modified motor will be happy if they up the ethanol.
You can get it mapped assuming it is an injection engine of some kind bud and probably make more HP than on standard fuel. As I said it gives more bhp but has less calorific value than standard fuel so you need more of it physically but the swedish run their Koernizeg on them and they 800bhp from standard fuel and 900 odd bhp on ethanol.
