Sure. But i'd go with a protein blend rather than straight whey. My current preworkout meal (cutting):
1/2 cup oats
1/2 banana or 1/2 cup blueberries
cinnamon
splenda
1 scoop protein power (50% ON casein, 50% ON pro complex)
1/2 cup 1% milkfat no salt added cottage cheese
instant coffee
splenda
cacao powder
water
crushed ice
When I'm not cutting the only major change is an additional 1/2 cup oats blended into the shake.
blended into a creamy shake.
