I would never have guessed you were fat before... and only after 4 months you look like you do now?!?! I was also fat at 255lbs (5'11), but took 2.5 years to get to the physique in my avy!
Anyway, knowing that you DO gain fat, even with a faster metabolism, we want to be careful. As for PWO - replace with any decent complex carb of your choice. I go with 'quick oats' dumped right into my protein shake. Quick, easy, and an awesome carb source.
Weight gainers are generally a waste of money. I haven't looked at the stats on the one you mentioned, but they are often filled with a bunch of sugar and other crap and chemicals that you can't even pronounce. Your body will thank you for ditching them.
Depends on what part of the cow then my man. Top Sirloin is relatively lean. Ribeye is one of the fattiest cuts. Half a cow will yield both. Be careful here!
Good question, and always debatable. Here's what I do:
If my daily goal is 250g of protein, I try to get 250g of protein from complete sources: meats, fish, dairy, etc. However, I know that the incomplete sources (beans, breads, etc) will add up in terms of calories - so I have my overall calories low enough where this expected overage won't hurt me. i.e. at the end of the day, try to get close to your caloric goal including EVERYTHING.
I hope this makes sense. It's hard to explain. I know it sounds contradictory.
I thought you said you weren't into bodybuilding? While those guys aren't professional bodybuilders per se, they certainly have close to the physiques and definitely the mass of bodybuilders. You need to decide what you really want - if you want to pack on mass to that extent, expect to put years in. At your age and current stats, you have PLENTY you can do naturally and I wouldn't even consider AAS. Cross that bridge when you get there, if you need to. You may surprise yourself with what you can do naturally.
