This is pretty much correct statistically. Army times conducted research a few months back to conclude that every 80 minutes a war veteran commits suicide. No need to prove this, just google it and see for yourselves.

In July 2011, 32 service members committed suicide, a high water mark at the time. If you use 30/month over a 10 year period, it's 3600 suicides. Now that is 3600 too many, but far short of 25/1
